Germany, Nursey and Eating

This week has been so nice having Timmy back into our lives. I am grateful that he made it back safely from Germany, and that he was able to spend time with his family and see the wedding. Zach and I survived with the help of the ward who fed us meals and invited us over for play dates. Anyone who knows us, realizes that we rely heavily on Timmy, and so they helped us out.

We have finally reached the 18 month mark where Zach can go to nursery. Zach has been going to nursery a month earlier than he should have, because Timmy and I substituted a month ago, and once Zach understood what nursery was all about his life would never be the same. As soon as sacrament is over he walks to the nursery door and knocks several times and won't stop until someone lets him in.

For the most part he is doing better than expected, he is not biting anyone and hasn't tackled anyone to the ground. He loves snack time and is the first one to the table and the last one to leave. He has claimed the whole play kitchen in the nursery and will grab and push anyone who approaches this area. Once he finds a toy that he wants he will do anything to get the toy. So there are some things that we need to work on to say the least! He is into throwing tantrums right now and it is quite the deal because he falls to the ground very carefully (he has this self preservation about him!) then he just starts crying, and sometimes he just lays there, I don't know why.

You know how I love candy so much, well Zach has also grown to love it as much and will not eat anything else. He won't even eat pizza! We went to Timmy's professors birthday party and we had it at a pizza place. Zach was being so cute but would not eat any of the pizza. But as soon as the cake came out he lit up and ate the whole piece of cake. He had chocolate frosting all over his face and people were taking pictures of his face. Let's just say he was in heaven, and Timmy and I were wondering how could this happen? He was eating so well, but it changed so drastically! If you have any suggestions on healthy snacks and lunches, please let us know!
